Strat guide? - Guild Wars Forums

Guide comes out this Friday. I am a fan of strat guides as I like having skills/maps etc. at my fingertips. I want to know if it will be worth it to purchase one for GW. I did not make it into any of the BWE's, so would like some input from some of the "veterans."

From what I have seen (mostly from this website, thanks Guru), there are a great amount of skills/attribute choices and a guide would help to min/max your selections for pve or pvp. Throw in crafting, runes and maps and I am leaning towards purchasing one.

If you just want quest walkthroughs and skill descriptions, a strategy guide will likely give you exactly what you want - of course, such things will likely show up on the web as well.

If you're looking for any actual strategy advise, I'd stay as far away from a 'strategy' guide as I could.
